ChaletZep
ChaletZep is a unique and modern chalet in the village of Les Collons 1800 and it offers space for 9 persons (adults or children) and one baby.
The chalet is built on the western slope of the mountain and has an unobstructed view over the valley, Val d'Herens below. The chalet has three floors of which the middle floor is the residential floor. On the top- and bottom floor, there are separate sleeping quarters so privacy is ensured when more than one family resides in the house.
The lounge windows and balconies provide a beautiful view across the valley below and the mountainpeaks.
When entering the house on the residential floor, you'll find a spacious hall with access to a skiraum and sliding doors that lead to the living room and kitchen. The skiraum offers space for all coats, ski´s, snowboards and other equipment you might bring.
The residential area consists of a spacious living room with a fireplace and open kitchen.
The sofa´s are placed around the fireplace so there is a very cosy atmosphere, the south side of the livingroom wall is a completely glass wall so you always have an extensive view over the mountaintops of Wallis.
The kitchen has all nessecary facilities such as a stove, oven- microwave, dishwasher, fridge, tosti maker and Nespresso machine.
Also the kitchen area has glass doors at the whole southside that open to the large balcony facing the valley.
When you step outside there is a large 40m2 terrace adjacent the south-east side of the house on which one can enjoy the sun, have lunch or play games. In summer and wintertime, the sun reaches the terraces until late afternoon.
At the bottom floor there are two bedrooms with double beds, a large bathroom with separate bath and shower, two sinks, a separate toilet, an appliance room with extra fridge, washing machine and dryer and a large Spa area.
In the Spa area you can relax in the sauna or jacuzzi, have a swim in the jetstream pool or have shower in the large double shower. Kids can play in the water and in the summertime you can open up the terracedoors and enjoy sunbathing next to the pool.
The topfloor also has two bedrooms of which one with a double bed and one with a one person bed and a bunk bed, a spacious bathroom with separate bath and shower, sink and toilet.
There is a large vide with flatscreen TV, DVD player, Ipod Doc-station, games and books where you can lie down on the rug or on one of the comfortable couches and relax. The vide is also an ideal place for the kids when adults like to drink a glass of wine at the fireplace.
In front of the house, we have two large garages in which guests can place their cars free of nightly snow. They come with the chalet.
The house is decorated in a modern but homely style. It is a mixture of old and new with Arne Jacobsen chairs, Louis Poulsen lamps, Paul´s Potten decorations, Ikea sofa´s, Hema towelling, antique cabinets, etc etc. We have brought many many books and games to the house for everybody's enjoyment.
When guests rent the chalet, all use of linnens, towels, beachtowels, bathrobes and the cleaning are included in the rates.
We like all our guests to feel the chalet is their home for the time they stay there..
